Hummus Café is SO good. I'm doing a falafel tour of Seattle and I don't think anything will top this place any time soon. I ordered the falafel sandwich and it was amazing. The falafel itself is very unique, I think it's a special Egyptian blend and it's so green and delicious. Ordered the kofta and it was dry and crumbly. Another disappointing thing about it was they use tortillas rather than a flatbread for their sandwiches. The owner thought I was stealing a drink even though I told him I paid for it and made me wait until he snapped at his wife to confirm if I had in fact bought a drink. She confirmed and he let me grab a drink. Overall bad service and bad food. Pretty disappointed too, given I'd heard good things from friends who ate here years ago. I'd be up to try it again if the service were better.

Best falafel in Seattle! They are perfectly crisp yet moist inside, and not greasy at all. Their babaganoush has the ideal amount of smokiness and the pita is always fresh and pillowy. A must try, go there now!!
