Hungry Howie's Pizza in Erie

I have only ever ordered takeout but it's been a good experience. Easy process to order and quick service. Delivery drivers are always well mannered and kind.

I love Hungry Howie's pizza, it's delicious and that's not what constitutes the one star rating.I want to make this review while it's fresh in my memory.I ordered last night (12/17/18) about 9:27pm according to my phone log. I'm visiting from Pittsburgh and rarely have Hungry Howie's, so I was excited.They close at 10, so I even made sure to ask the guy on the phone-- is it ok to order carry out or not, cuz I don't want to be THAT customer that orders last second. He was kind and said, no problem, we can do carry out, small cheese pizza will be done in 10-15 minutes. Sweet, no issues there.I arrive about 9:45 to the side parking lot of the building and walk up to the front door facing 12th Street. There's a little sign that's pointing to the right that says "please use side door" so I go in this building and try to use the door to get into the back part of Hungry Howie's. As I'm knocking on the door (it's locked) and saying "hello I'm here to pick up pizza", I hear a voice in what I assume is the kitchen area. A males voice yells "YO WHERE THIS CHEESE PIZZA ORDERING B**CH AT, WE'RE READY TO LEAVE"I was offended by this and pounded louder on the door, then went back out front and waved in the windows. The cashier guy saw me and they had to let me in through the left side employee door, so how was I supposed to get in the restaurant with all your doors locked 15 minutes early?I paid for my pizza because yes I'm in love with Hungry Howie's fantastic pizza and sup...
