Excellent food. Meat selection is good and prices are very reasonable. Excellent customer service and did not have to ask for refills.

I haven't gone KBBQ-ing since the pandemic first hit, so I was super excited to go back to Hwang Hae Doh last night! Below is a comparison of present and past experiences and why you should give this place a shot: - Affordability: This place has always been my go-to KBBQ spot due to its affordability. Notably, prices did go up a few dollars since COVID hit which is pretty understandable given the lack of business they probably faced. In addition, you have to have a lot of trust in their bill calculations here. They don't really show you a breakdown of what you paid for, and if they do, it's barely legible. As reference, I paid $20 last night for Set C (&14.99) with tip included since we were a party of six. - Quality: You get what you pay for. If you're looking for plain ol KBBQ meat that's pretty good, check this place out! I like to believe that the taste of their meats has actually improved since last year. It was much juicier than the last time I came here in 2020. - Service: Ok. In the past, service was not the best. It was an insane struggle to get anyone's attention even when you're waving your arms. However, this time, our server, CJ, was amazing! He was super attentive and personable. He took the time to list soju flavors to us and his opinion on them and he was patient with us when we couldn't make up our minds.
