This used to be a good restaurant but I won't go there again. I was looking for a hibachi place and most places had a wait of at least 30 minutes. When I called Ichiban at 8 pm they said there was no wait. I asked what time they stoped seating people for Hibachi and the hostess said 8:30pm. I got there at 8:25pm and she said the chef had already stopped working. I asked to speak with the manager a teenager showed up. She went to ask the chef in the kitchen and he said he was leaving. The restaurant was nearly empty which says a lot when all other places have a wait list. I wasted my time going there and will not return.

The hibachi salmon lacked flavor and was overcooked. The sushi was tasty, but the large pieces were not easy to eat. However, the service was very good, diligent. I like their options but I hope next time, if we come back, we get some authentic Japanese hibachi grilled. With 2 meals, including the salmon, duck, veggies, soup, salad, and sushi, it came to be $50 per person. Quite pricey!
