India 4 U in Antioch

My God! Probably the least favorite Indian food I have ever tasted. When it's spicy it's spicy. When it's bland, it doesn't even have enough salt. I don't know if they have different cooks but food is very immature.

I have pretty high standards for Indian given I have had a lot from really good places. I have walked by this place many times and it always smells yummy so I decided to get take out one day. I ordered from the vegetarian menu-- the paneer with peas and the veggie korma along with garlic naan and rice. The panner was not what I was expecting. It was watery and the panner was ok. The Korma was a little better but the color was kind of weird. My son liked the Korma too. The naan was decent enough. Overall, I was underwhelmed by the food, but I would give it another chance and see if some of their other dishes are better.

I'm going to be totally honest and say I had only tried Indian food at a wedding a few years ago. For some reason , tonight I decided I wanted to explore and try it again. I ordered from India 4 U through DoorDash . I eat a predominately vegetarian diet (occasionally will eat meat) and am not a fan of spicy food . Their menu was very easy to navigate through DoorDash and I like the descriptions and way it was organized. I ended up ordering chana masala , tika masala , basmati rice , regular naan , garlic naan , and got my 2 boys chicken nuggets and fries . I'd say I ordered a lot of food for 1 adult and 2 kids and have a lot of leftover. I spent total, with tip and delivery , about $40 which for a DoorDash dinner is very reasonable especially to eat the next day. Next time I'll order more of the rice now that I know . My favorite was the chana masala and garlic naan . It was carefully packaged and came still hot . I can't wait to order and try more of their menu .
