Not super happy with the meal. Smelled and tasted like just raw tomato juice with heavy cream in it. It was a super thin liquid and had no body to the sauce like traditional curry type dishes. No Indian spices could really be tasted and felt like someone just put v8 in a bowl of chicken chunks. The naan with garlic was super tough and felt like an old flour tortilla with jarred minced garlic slapped on it. The chicken was in no way tender or tasty, had more of a tough over cooked texture but also raw kind of quality to it. Very odd and after reading reviews on yelp it seems that's kind of a common occurrence. Not a fan and more than likely will not order from there again.

I know, I know. I've been writing a lot of reviews about delivery experiences. We're slowly starting to get out there and enjoy more businesses in-person, but we still spend most of our time at home. We ordered from Indian Bistro 14 one day last week and I'm still thinking about this food! Jon and I like to get a bunch of different things to share. Everything is great leftover for a few days, so we don't really worry about ordering too much. Here's what we got and how we felt about it: Chicken Madras (medium heat): the spice level is a lot for me, even at a medium. I might need mild next time! The chicken is in a delicious fragrant sauce with plenty of potatoes (my favorite part) that are the perfect texture. Beef Shahi Korma (medium heat): soooo good. We loved the creamy onion sauce, it has so much flavor it's crazy. Veg Biryani: this is rice stir-fried with herbs, nuts, and raisins. All of these flavors just in your rice?? Amazing! We chose veggies but you can also do meat. Chana Daal (mild heat): chickpeas in a curry sauce. Delicious! Garlic Butter Naan: Jon loves every naan (I avoid being celiac), but garlic butter has got to be the best, right? We also ordered sides of red & green chatni (delicious condiments) and achaar (a little pickle medley). Everything tastes so wonderful all mixed together, get a little of everything in each bite. Plus it's very affordable and delivered hot!
