After a 45 minute wait we got a phone call that our table was ready. Nice gazebo next door to sit and wait. Also the self serve drink system is very handy when you are waiting for a table. They use the honor system and just let you get your own beer and take it outside. Very convenient! After getting to our table it took literally 15-20 minutes for a waitress to finally come to our table. We placed an order with an appetizer. After waiting for quite a while our food finally arrived. No appetizer. The crab leg appetizer showed up 5 minutes later. We had no silverware so I literally ate my food with a crab fork. Waitress never came except to take our order. The corn was ice cold. Other food was good. Price was pretty steep. Overall the service was poor and not worth the wait and price. Self serve drinks are cool but apparently it's an excuse to never come to your table and to run short staffed. We won't be back.

Loved this little gem we found on a road trip along the gulf coast!! Relaxing and friendly service. Chargrilled oysters were fresh, and had a great flavor indigenous to the area! We hope to be able to visit again soon!!

I agree with Marco. The honor policy is a unique tradition and the food is outstanding. Five Stars ***** The Indian Pass Raw Bar Uptown carries on the same atmosphere as the original, and there are better parking options than any other establishment on Reid Avenue.
