Kind staff and quick service. Only complaint was extremely small portions. Michigan pothole is the best!

Not genuine gelato...more like plain old ice cream Don't bother, especially for the price

I visited Iorio's Gelateria on a late-night double-date, and had a great experience. This location is right by NeoPapalis, so there's ample metered parking nearby (which is free after-hours). When we walked in, it was clear that this location was designed for take-out; there was very little seating room. The two people manning the gelato station were really kind, and explained the different flavors while giving us samples. I opted for the smallest size, and combined the peanut butter cup with the chocolate hazelnut. As a happy surprise, the lady scooping my gelato managed to cram an unexpectedly huge amount into my little cup. The prices were fair, and I paid under $6 for my cup. The taste was spectacular, and is a much better option than Fro-Yo or Soft-Serve outlets in Ann Arbor. My only advice for the establishment is to increase the amount of seats; otherwise, this is a fun place to visit!
