We had a delicious meal from Island Soul Rum Bar & Soul Shack. Love that you can order online, pay online, and they'll bring your food out to the curb. Support a black-owned business, especially one that was recently vandalized. The jerk chicken was absolutely delicious and it was our favorite entree. The plantains are perfectly carmelized and crispy on the edges, and sweet and tender inside. I don't know what magical things they did to the patty dough but they are the flakiest I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. And just get the coconut cake already. It's delicious beyond words. So moist and fluffy and coconut. Treat yourself! We ordered: - Beef and chicken patties - Jerk chicken - Curry chicken - Oxtail stew - Plantains - Collard greens - Soul slaw - Coconut cake
