Have to change my review 2022. Ivars got a new chef we were bummed no more chipotle aioli and the Caesar dressing tasted like mustard dressing . The salmon was fishy which it never has been in the past almost frozen defrosted tasting. Everything was bland. Calamari was not crispy is was greasy swimming in oil a little bit of a bummer. Hope they can pick it up or we will have to find a new haunt. We know January is slow but it should be amazing to keep you coming back. Place was empty at 6:30pm we were the last to leave at 8:00. O

This place is a must try if you come to visit Seattle so of course i had to give it a try! Located right by the waterfront, this place is an outdoor restaurant where you order and can eat in the open side next to it with heated ceilings or take it to go We order the clam chowder, fish & chips (cod and Halibut) with a side of chips (Fries)! The fish was crispy and flakey goodness lol Fries are super crispy to my surprise & the fish was awesome! The cod was my favorite out of the 2!! The clam chowder was amazing as well!! The price here was a little bit in the higher end of some other fish & chips I've had but with the quality it was worth the extra couple of dollars

Came across this seafood restaurant in downtown Seattle... Ivar's Acres of Clams. Great Simple Menu. Everything looked good. Call in or order online. I picked up at the window for take out. Ordered the True Cod 3 piece, CAJUN Style at extra cost. The fish was fried to a golden brown, delicious and moist. The Cajun kick will sneak up on you after the bite. A little extra but worth it. All entrees come with chips. Have to come back again to try the rest of the menu.
