J & M Meat and Seafood in Searcy

I am new in town and shopping around for seafood and this is what I came upon. Although the older gentlemen was talking to a customer, there was no formal greeting at all. As soon as the older gentlemen that works there was done talking to the customer I've asked for a certain type of fish but not many were available that day. I looked around and found something else instead. Then I also asked for "stuffed jalapeños", the older gentlemen that works there asked if I said, "Jalapeño Cheese?", not knowing there was a Jalapeño Cheese sausage. I replied with yes. And as soon as I saw the older gentlemen start packing the "Jalapeño Cheese Sausage", I told him "I apologize sir, but the stuffed Jalapeños was what I asked for. He then gives a smirk. I get it you probably have been doing this for a while but please a little positive attitude comes a long way. If you are new in town, I would not recommend this seafood market at all. Sorry, but respect comes along way. 2 stars for the quality of the meat and how the store looks.

Great selection of meats for all your grilling needs. They also have a good selection of sauces and rubs to compliment their meats. The staff is friendly and helpful and the service is quick. A must stop for anyone that wants to cookout or use high quality meats in your meals.

Purchased rib-eye steaks. Great cuts. They were the best steaks we’ve had in a long time. It’s hard to impress my husband and these did. We could cut them with a fork. Tomorrow we will try the beff ribs i’m sure they will be great too.
