After getting a good review from family we decided to give Heneghans another try. In the past the quality of food wasn’t consistent. I couldn’t be more disappointed tonight. We ordered a hamburger and chicken sandwich with buratta. The chicken sandwich was cold and soggy. The hamburger was ordered “medium”. It came less than rare. The outside was chard but the inside texture and color was raw. We couldn’t eat the hamburger. We like to support our local businesses but the quality needs to there.

If you’re going to serve “margherita flatbread” that’s literally just cheese pizza with basil, just put cheese pizza on the menu. did not taste like margherita pizza whatsoever. the server also seemed annoyed even though it wasn’t busy and they were mostly standing behind the bar with each other. I was a server for over five years and am understanding of situations where it’s busy and can take a bit to get things, but we were waiting for the check for 15 minutes after we were done, and it was clear it was possible for her to come over. was in the area for birding—next time will look for a different place to eat.
