I've been to Jack & Georges many times since moving to Altoona six months ago. It's a local staple and for good reason. The service rocks and food is always great. It's usually always packed, but the wait for a table is short - the parking lots across the street are great because the restaurant is tucked away in the middle of a neighborhood and it can be difficult to find on street parking here. I love the chicken cheese steak, the fried chicken salad is awesome, too. The cheese balls and mozzarella sticks are a must try! This is where I first discovered that salads are always covered with fries here. Lol If you get one of the sandwiches order the baby, otherwise you'll be taking at least half of it home. The portions are huge and the drinks are reasonable!
