My partner and I enjoyed a late lunch at Jack’s Fish Spot when visiting Pikes Place. We shared the Grilled Salmon Meal and Bowl of Clam Chowder. Great warm meal for a chilly day, additional a very fair price for seafood. Did not anticipate the chowder in a bread bowl (I may missed that on the menu), but fun surprise. Only small thing was the sauce on the salmon was neither of our favorites and would have been okay with it left off. Still will likely be returning!

After our 3rd disappointing visit in a row to Jack's, we will not be returning. Our first visit was a year and a half ago. We had fish and chips. The fish was rubbery and way over cooked. Terrible. The next visit we had clam chowder. Soupy, flavorless and kinda gross. So disappointed. Our last visit was yesterday. We ordered the "famous salmon". It looked amazing. We were so excited to eat it. It was completely raw. Cold and raw! What a total let down! We gaveJack's a good old American college try and they failed to deliver every time. We will not be back.

Jack's Fish Spot,...you didn't know it, neither did we, but we spent a long, hangry time looking for you!! It was mid Friday afternoon, never been to this market before and thought we would find shop after shop where we could get some of the best, simple baskets of fresh, authentic seafood you could find. We'd grab them and go sit somewhere outside and enjoy what we expected to be phenomenal food. Clearly, that wasn't going to happen! We walked and walked through the market to find many shops closed and the only food available to be limited menus, high prices, full sit down in some relatively dark room,...
