The space is chopped up weirdly. The nostalgic experience of being in an old quaint building is totally absent. Almost no ambience. Food was okay. Service was okay.

Hubby and I had Thanksgiving pre fixed dinner today at the legendary Jack's Oyster House in Albany. While the dining room lacked any kind of festive holiday decorations, which was just a small disappointment, the tables were well spaced, it was not crowded, and they appeared to take the cleaning very seriously. Hubby had the traditional turkey dinner and I had the prime rib. Our Ceasar salads and dinners were delicious. My slice of pumpkin pie for dessert was too small but tasty. Hubby's slice of cheesecake with berry swirl and whipped cream was noticeably larger and also very tasty. Special thanks to Jack's and their staff for being open on Thanksgiving day to serve those of us who are social distancing from family and friends this year. We may consider going back for Christmas dinner if they're open on 12/25.
