I have been to Jaxs many times over the years and it has never been disappointing. Casual environment with an ice house feel. Offers a pretty good regular menu with several daily specials. You order at the counter and fill your own drink (unless it's an adult beverage. You think pick your food up from the counter once your order number is called. You can sit at the bar, which offers full service! I have tried the burgers. Maybe not the best in Houston, but they are good. The nachos are simple but good. Overall, I think they offer something for everyone and and all the food items are good and reasonably price! My favorite is the corn and chicken chowder. I often get a cup of it with most of my meals there. The restaurant has a nice covered patio which is great even during the summer. I highly recommend Jax Grill!
