I would like to give this a 0 stars, if I could! This food was so incredibly terrible and a complete waste of $60.00. We got a sample platter, it was burnt and gross! We also got 2 rice meat dishes. It stated fried rice, it was not. There were no vegetables and very little meat. I feel like I was robbed on Capital Hill!

Located on the corner of Olive Place and Olive Way in Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill district, Jeepney Cap Hill is not hard to miss. It's a cute, food-truck-inspired business that looks like a jeepney mural on the outside. The menu features a decent selection of Filipino/American comfort food. I ordered three dishes: 1. Beef lumpia (Filipino-style egg rolls) - tasty but very oily! 2. Steak tapa (Filipino-style marinated beef) rice bowl - plenty of rice but very small portion of beef (yo, I need my protein lol). 3. Ube bread pudding topped with calamansi glaze and powdered sugar - very rich; however, the menu says it is served with vanilla bean ice cream but my order didn't come with ice cream and I was charged the same amount. I paid a total of $45. It's on the expensive side. But is it worth it? That's debatable. I've tried lumpias and steak tapas that are more flavorful. But man, that ube pudding was something! Everything (except for the sweets) is prepared fresh. Zane was friendly enough to engage in small talk. Indoor seating is not available, so expect to wait outside. Pro-tip: call ahead!
