Whenever I go back to Anchorage I'll be sure to eat at Jens' Restaurant again!! The reviews don't lie. This is the best restaurant, even better than Orso. We walked in on a Tuesday night after 9 with no reservations and wearing casual attire (jeans and hiking boots), and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. We never felt rushed or hurried in any way. We started with the charcuterie plate; it was fresh, delicious and perfectly paired with sharp cheeses, soft cheeses, crispy breads, soft breads, mouthwatering meats and pickles. It went well with the flight of Pinot Noir I ordered. Next came the entrees. My husband ordered the Kodiak Scallops and I got the Halibut with asparagus. Both dishes were absolutely amazing!
