We stop by at this location whenever we are in town .we normally order jalebi and samosa to go. It’s almost a turning point from the recent visit because the weekend guy behind the counter was extremely rude and aggressive. He can’t wait to get rid of you as soon as you walk inside the restaurant. He gave the vibe to me and husband . Get what you want and get out- the restaurant was empty. We were the only customers inside at that time. With wide selection of sweets , he didn’t give us an opportunity to look around. There use to be a older gentleman afew years ago , not sure why he is gone but he welcomed every customer with a smile.3 for lack of customer service and unwelcoming behavior!!

I have been consistently coming to Jewel of India for the past four months since working in the area. The samosas with meat, chicken tikka masala, garlic Naan, lamb vindaloo, and tandoori mixed grill are my go-to's. The food always comes out nice and hot and is delicious if I have leftovers the next day. An added bonus is the fact that they also have Indians sweets. Usually I have purchased these in Sunnyvale at a place called Rangoli. The prices on sweets are  very affordable and still very good. They also carry one of my favorite Indian beers called Taj Mahal. A little side tip if you have any extra chicken tikka masala sauce save that and make Indian flavored inspired pizzas at home later. This is what we do. Give them a try and hope you enjoy.
