Jimmy John's in Arlington Heights

I find myself using their app for most orders and it is pretty darn flawless. Every order is accurate.I’m not much of a sandwich eater but this franchise has kinda changed my mind. Every sandwich (Hunter Club) is my favorite has been consistent and dependable in its taste and quality.The meat tastes French, the seasonings are perfect so they don’t overpower the taste and the veggies have always been fresh.I frequent the Arlington Hts, Fox River Grove and Crystal Lake locations. When I was purchasing lunch for a homeless man in our area, the AH location gave me 2 free cookies for him-an extremely sweet gesture.The perks of the app are good, too. You get freebies after a certain number of orders. Their app is easy to use!

No personality or manners at my recent drive thru experience. Guy on headset seemed legitimately annoyed that I had the audacity to interrupt his time checking his phone to take my order. Cashier had mask hanging below her nose. Really pathetic staff. Whoever is managing this place needs to be fired as they clearly are managing nothing. Get better or just close the store. Noone would care.

My order arrived having an extreme odor of cigarettes so much that it gave me a headache, the smell filled up the entire vestibule of my office and lingered for an hour after I threw away the packaging. Maybe they should advise drivers to wait to smoke until after orders have been delivered.In addition to my order smelling horrible, my sandwich was not made the way I ordered it. I customized my sandwich on the app and none of the choices I made were reflected, they made me just the basic sandwich.Unfortunately this is not the first time I have had issues with this store and I will not be ordering from them again unless something is done to make up for this. In past orders, my delivery was late by over an hour, and after calling several times and being reassured that it was on the way, I was informed that the driver got lost. This store should train their employees better or make them use Google Maps, my office building is less than a mile away and located on the exact same road as this store. Other issues I have had in the past were receiving poorly made sandwiches that were not customized the way I ordered. This has happened several times.I have refrained from making a review in the past because I understand that mistakes happen and I am very forgiving. The fact that I have had this many issues with this store has compelled me to write a review because it is obvious there is a management issue. I expect much more from Jimmy John's and this is simply unacceptable.
