Karaoke Bar (on specific Friday's) - The DJ was a great rapper and would help out participates who had rap songs. Decent song selection though the one song we chose had the right title and incorrect song playing. Cheap beer, eclectic group of individuals with a very friendly atmosphere all around from staff to customers. If you're looking for a dive bar you'll have a fun time. Would definitely come back again just to see everyone enjoying their time. Did not get a chance to try their food.

I went on the advice of a friend...and now we're no longer friends. A loud, obnoxious punk band started playing after I dropped $10 in the juke box. Crowd was a little sketchy but the bartenders were really nice. Meh...

Joe's Tavern is one of those places you will never find listed in the Lehigh Valley tourism guide or recommended on travel websites. However, if you are in town and want to experience the real Bethlehem, Joe's is the place to go. It is your classic, "hole-in-the wall" bar with a spectrum of regular clientele representing Bethlehem's diversity -- Everyone from students from Lehigh/Moravian to PBR-swigging hipsters to the after-work crowd to the quirky regulars that one would expect at your neighborhood watering hole. Everyone is made to feel welcome at Joe's. The bartenders are fantastic -- Always friendly, attentive, and sociable.
