Went back home and visited the famous Johnnie's that alot of people talk about. DJ played good music, Bartender pleasant and drinks were on point. Great atmosphere and good crowd

So in Uber Eats, it gives you a list of all Black-Owned restaurants to support, sadly. In the Albany area, there are 2 on the list of Black Owned restaurants, this place Johnnie's on Broadway and Irie Vybez. I wasn't feeling the Caribbean, so I went for soul food. The nicest thing I can say is it came quickly. I ordered fried shrimp with string beans and Mac and cheese as sides, which comes with cornbread. The string beans seasoning was the best thing on the plate. It had ham hocks, peppers, onions, and sauteed very well. I almost drank its juice; it was so damn good. The Macaroni and cheese were decent, wasn't all too bad, and not nearly good enough. The cornbread was gross; tossed that in the garbage. The fried shrimp was a joke. For $18, the shrimp was so small, and only 6 came with it. I was like where the rest of the food. This place was ok but not worth buying from again. Sorry to improve your menu, and you can get more business.
