It was cold outside last Saturday when I came by for lunch along with being over 10 years since I last dined here. That's because I remember my last visit was just average and I later found several other Italian restaurants nearby that were better. After looking at the menu, I remembered that this is not a typical Italian restaurant in that it also offers steak, spareribs, burgers, etc. Since it had been so long and not remembering what I ate that day, I decided to go basic and ask for the spaghetti with meat sauce for $12.99. It also comes with a side salad and bread. The bread arrived first shortly followed by the salad. It had iceberg lettuce, tomato, croutons and onion and my requested ranch dressing. Stopped by Johnny Carino's in Houston, after a trip to Galveston from Dallas.. the food was delicious; not to mention our server: Jeanine.. she has an awesome personality; she's so cool, fun, sweet, nice, very friendly, wonderful, kind and thoughtful. Excellent and exceptional customer service, she kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Jeanine's great attention towards us, did not go unnoticed and we will definitely be making the drive, again and asking for her to serve us, once again and again. We highly recommend her to serve you, you will not be disappointed. AAA+++.
