Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! You can tell the staff does not want to be there. Ordered steak medium well, but still pink. Also someone in my party had a birthday and we asked if they had birthday desserts we could take home. Waitress said they do but you can't take it to go. We said they could just bring it out and we would eat it. Got the bill and thry charged $4 for the cheesecake that should have been free. We didn't bother bringing it up because it was a horrible experience and we were ready to leave. That next someone in my party ended up getting sick. Called the manager and they took no responsibility said it wasn't them they served that all day and it came fresh from Omaha. They said it was a shellfish allergy that caused him to get sick.

First time at Johnny's Italian steakhouse in Altoona IA,it was a very nice place to dine at.my wife and I went to an early dinner there,it was not bizzy at the time on Saturday around 4pm.we had ordered the stuffed sausage mushrooms and the sausage bread appetizers and ordered the lasagna plate and the prime rib plate,everything was very nicely cooked and tasted very good.the waitress Haliegh that served us did a very good job,she check on us took time to help us have a good experience dinning in.we will take and back again soon even thought it is a little pricey but well worth the time and money for a good time. Thank you Johnny's for making our time there a good time.
