Joss Cafe & Sushi Bar is one of sushi restaurants and probably a restaurant not just in Annapolis, but in the Maryland state where they get it all the way around the board. A great restaurant institution for Annapolis for many years, it never goes out of style and the food always amazing. When you come in you are greeted by the majority of the staff by the Japanese phrase いらっしゃい ! (irasshai!) which is a loose translation for "welcome". Every is smiling, they are eager to seat you and eager to serve you. Their menus are very diversified! Not only they have sushi, but other great appetizers, soups and entree courses that make you feel and believe that you are in Japan! The different selection choices of sushi is amazing. They do have the basics of sushi, but they also do have original rolls and new style of sushi that is so tempting and beautiful to see that you want to try it and see how it is. Everytime I have the sushi, it's so beautiful looking that I feel that I can't eat it yet. You have to visually admire the work and the food art that is in front of you. If there is one thing I would say to even make this restaurant even better than it is, I would say bring back the Eel Wrap because that was a great dish and maybe incorporate some Ramen Soup dishes? But that's just me. For those that just want to have a good experience with a great staff and awesome food, then look no further. This place is flawless and amazing!
