Cosy store, acceptable food, but service a little bit sluggish, could due to the pandemic

The Singaporean chicken is cold here. Probably authentic because Singapore is always hot. The braised pork belly is not cooked till really soft and is in fact chewy.

(Based on 4.5 stars) Joy Kitchen is located in the promenade at the Santa Anita Westfield Mall, specifically right outside of Nordstrom's. This restaurant took over Money Bar's. I came here with my husband and our little girl dog for dinner last month on a Sunday. We sat outside (there is some seating inside) and waited for a friend and her dog to join us. My husband ordered this with no ice with less sugar and thought it was good. I didn't have any but he thought it was refreshing and also not too sweet. Aloe Mojito, $5.50 prior to tax- I decided to order this with no ice with less sugar and really liked that it was also quite refreshing. It wasn't too sweet and would order this again. The drinks we ordered came with boba. Teppan Tofu, $7.99 prior to tax- This came with 8 fried pieces that was topped with tasted sesame seeds and a sauce that I think tasted like a sesame sauce. The tofu was very hot and it is best to wait before biting into it. I thought this appetizer was great. But was surprised that it was delivered last to our table. Baby Cabbage in Sesame Sauce, $7.99 prior to tax- I liked this dish and thought the sesame sauce was great but just a little on the salty side but was fine when I mixed it with my rice from my entree. I liked that the cabbage had a nice crunch to it. Braise Pork Belly, $13 prior to tax- My husband ordered this and so did our friend. I had a bite of the port and thought it was delicious. I liked the flavor of the sauce used and thought the pork was tender. It was nice that there was a sid...
