I recently went to Julie's Coffee & Tea Garden in Alameda. It is hands down my favorite coffeeshop on the island & easily one of my favorites in the entire SF Bay Area as I put it up there w/ the Timeless coffeeshops in Oakland & now in Berkeley along w/ in The Center Teahouse in the Haight in the city. Although I love the smell of roasted coffee beans the only caffeine I consume is the trivial amounts in good quality dark chocolate on occasion as Dr. Andrew Weil would say an ounce a day!
