Good food. Large portion

*Adjusted*Amazing food well worth every penny! But, the service has gotten very poor and slow, has to chase down staff to get drinks or refills...of water. Also, the chefs are not trained well like they were pre-covid. A little disappointing, but still good food.

Kabuto Japanese House Of Steaks & Sushi was a delightful experience. This is especially true when you consider the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic. The restaurant seemed to have done a great job of managing safety while ensuring a pleasant experience for their customers.They did require masks to be worn to enter the restaurant and to be worn as we were seated or moving about the restaurant. I nor anyone in my group had any issues with this. While we were seated, eating and drinking, we were allowed to have our masks off. Our servers and chef were fully masked the entire time that they were in our presence. Ok, enough about that.We visited on a Friday evening and they were busy. Our group of 6 was seated with another group of 6 people, but this is fairly customary of a Japanese Steak House. It did take us a while to receive our beverages, but eventually the staff found their groove and we were well taken care of from then on. It appeared that all of the full tables within the restaurant had similar experiences. I pay attention to that type of stuff.The chef was amazing. He wasn't too wild or crazy and he read the table well. We had infants and toddlers with us so he was sure to amaze, but not to frighten. He was very organized and professional.
