Not sure why this place isn't rated higher. Everything we had were amazing! Love the Japanese twist to some 'western' food. The Nori fries were super crunchy and flavorful. Great to go with beer. The miso risotto were super tasty too. Not the typical creamy buttery risotto but a much lighter and maybe there isn't any dairy version. I didn't asked but hasn't felt the dairy after effect yet ;). The food: - Yuzu pepper karaage: so freakin delicious omg. Each chicken was so flavorful and delecta...

Don't let the 3.5 star overall rating on this place fool you. It totally fooled me and I almost gave the bf a hard no when he suggested checking this place out because I had read a bunch of the OLD reviews. This place is under new management and from what we were told, they inherited the existing Itsumono Yelp account. The bf and I ordered the furikake fries to start, which was yummy, he got the fish and chips, and I had the loco moco scotch egg, and then we ended with some andagi. I can't tell you about the fish and chips because I didn't try any. But the bf loved it and said it was like having an elevated fish and chips experie...
