nice little restaurant at reagan airport. clean and well kept. the staff is attentive and move quickly to get people in and out. beer is cold and selection is pretty good. A little pricy.

Airport restaurants always seem to suck ass. Kapnos Taverna is no exception. Prime example of bland overpriced airport food. It has something of a good looking menu with Greek classics. The food is bad and everything is a ripoff. Greek food is typically cheap. It doesn't cost much to purée some chickpeas and serve it with pita. There's fancier items but you usually can find stuff for a good price. Not here. On the menu there's only a few choices and all of these are overpriced. Hummus is one of the cheapest. This is about $10 for a plate. It comes with a few pieces of pita bread. The hummus is plain and watery. It's not that much on the plate for that cost.
