KFC in Anoka

We went for lunch and ordered from the drive thru. Received our food and looked at it as we knew it was 2:45 in the afternoon. It looked like the food was put in the fryer again. Extremely dark and burnt looking. I didn't even drive away. We just told them that we would be able to take it because it looked burnt. My mom has trouble with chewing and enjoys the original recipe. The woman looked annoyed but she could make more but it would be 30min. I told her I would just take a refund. The manager was called over (Jaslyn) she was cold and also annoyed but gave the refund and told me I would get the refund in 5 to 7 days. They didn't give a receipt so after I left I decided that I would turn around and request one as I felt uncomfortable the handling by the manager and I didn't want to have to dispute the charge if I didn't get the money back. She said that she didn't have a way to give me a receipt but she had the one the store would use so I was able to take a picture of it. She was still upset and before I left decided that she should tell me that the food wasn't burnt and she had just made it. I told her that it did look burnt and if not that it had been re fried. She continued to repeat her statement. I asked for her store number but she said she didn't have it. She is not manager material. I just didn't want food that was not worth my money or eating. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Food can be remade, its ok for it to be old at that time of day. It is not ok to treat someone poorly because for some reason you are offended by the request. Jaslyn could use more training f...

Git immediately sick after wards. Would have returned but I had to drive over 3 hours this day. Stuff went right through me. Terrible bun, very dry, and the chicken and fries were clearly old af.

Unfortunately, this is the first KFC I've been to where the crispy chicken was overcooked! I can't believe how dry the chicken was. I couldn't even finish it. It tasted awful. The mashed potatoes was good and the biscuit was great, but so disappointed in the chicken. The whole reason I went there was for the chicken. The fries we got were also overcooked and unedible. The chicken tenders were also super dry... someone needs to monitor the cooks! Hard to show what it tastes like...the chicken i already threw away. Waste of money...
