The exterior is rather deceiving but once you enter it's amazing. The decor is very simple and clean yet extremely attractive. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The rolls actually stole the show! Make sure you ask for a basket. The fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Well seasoned, crispy and juicy!! I don't like Mac and cheese ( yes I know so what sue me!) but it was rather tasty. Drinks are good as well. My only complaint would be the banana pudding which is in a small mason jar glass and doesn't hit the mark. Other than that you won't but disappointed.

Wanted to try Ronnie Killen’s place for country cooking in the Heights tonight. Brother and sister in law’s pork chop and chicken fried chicken were both good, my 1/2 fried chicken was really moist and flavorful. On these three entrees I would have gave 4-5 stars. Especially if you include the blue cheese topped bacon appetizer. The issue was my wife’s bbq plate. The ribs and sausage were good enough, but the brisket was not. The brisket slices were actually cut WITH the grain, not against. Which we all know simply ruins the meat. Mr. Killen made a name for himself by smoking brisket and I can’t believe he would allow brisket to be served this way. Sorry to say he may have expanded his restaurants too quickly if details like this are missed. Not necessarily looking forward to trying more of his places.

So very sad! Was looking forward to trying this place! But didn't pass the mask, and cooks eating food behind nice glass test! Hostess was too busy for me! When I asked for a Manager he was busy! OH well you not getting my money!
