This place is awesome, definitely a gem! We came at 4:30pm on a Saturday because they use to have a hot pot item on their menu. Their menu has changed since COVID but nevertheless, their food is authentic and you are guaranteed to have a mouthful of flavors. Although we were the only people dining in, the service was fast and waitress was friendly. Many people were coming to pick up their takeout orders.

Disappointing for the price. Pork & chives tasted too salty, eggplant w/garlic sauce too sour, both fairly greasy. House special noodles use prepackaged noodles, with little protein & typical soy sauce flavor. Ginseng chicken soup contained one small ginseng root & one small chicken & tasted of prepackaged chicken broth, embarrassing for $29.

Outstanding Chinese restaurant located just inside Beltway 8 at Bellaire Blvd. We've been coming here for a little over a year. Everything we've tried has been excellent. The service is wonderful - the chief waitress is very friendly, and she will personally assist you with finding something on the menu that you will enjoy. The shrimp kung pao (which is an off-the-menu selection) is the best I've had in Houston. The hot and sour soup is excellent, and the family-style bowl they serve it in will feed 4-6 people. I've brought many friends and coworkers here, and everyone loves the food and the service. This is now our main place for take-out during the Covid pandemic. Highly recommended, A++
