I came here with a few friends on a Friday night a little less than 2 hours before closing and it was pretty much empty. Most people who came in came to pick up takeout orders but sitting there and enjoying a large meal with friends was definitely the move. The one guy taking our order and bringing out our food was so nice and so helpful. We felt really taken care of by him, and he constantly came back to check on us and talk about the food. He told us his father runs a restaurant back in Egypt that specializes in koshary, which we got because why else were we at "King of Koshary". We also got hawawshi, the Alexandrian style liver, beef kofta, and there was pita, pickles, salad, and hummus on the side. My favorite was the hawawshi and the kofta which were both so savory and juicy. The rice that came with the kofta was insanely good and I had to stop myself from eating all of it so I could also enjoy the other dishes.
