I really really hate giving bad ratings. We went in Jan 2022...so maybe they were short staffed because of pandemic??? It was freezing in the restaurant. Customers were eating with jackets on. Nobody took our drink order for 20 min. Once we ordered our drinks they still hadn't come after 15 min so we cancelled and left. Menu's were dirty. Prices were high.I have been here once before and I got sake and a sushi roll... that v...

I hate writing bad reviews but the service was unbelievable. first of all, I understand they’re probably short staffed. the workers were RUNNING around the restaurant to get peoples orders and to clean. On that note, our server only came by our table to take our drink order, food order, and to pay. no drink refills. I found eggshells in my food. plenty of them. totally disgusting and unacceptable. it was freezing in the building, food was just ok. i usually enjoy going here for sushi lunch but i will never come here again in the evening.

Very good food My Son and I tried Kobe Japanese Steakhouse for the first time this evening. I'm going to give it 4 stars, but I could have given only 3... I,ll explain later in the review. We called ahead, and got a reservation on a busy Saturday night. We also arrived a bit early, but only had to wait about 5 minutes even though we were almost 30 minutes early. I ordered a Filet & Filet combo (one was the ginger teriyaki filet), and my Son ordered Filet and Lobster. The waitress took our order, and returned quickly with our drinks, and our Gyoza appetizer. It took awhile for the chef to show up, but that was not unexpected since they rotate among the Teppan tables, and it was very busy. The dinner started with a salad with a nice ginger dressing. It was crisp and fresh. So far so good. Next came the Japanese onion soup. It was good, but could have been a bit hotter. As those item were served, the chef was preparing our fried rice with chicken, and had started to cook the vegetables. Prior to cooking, he did the obligatory juggling of the utensils. Nice if you have kid to be entertained, and there were some at our shared Teppan table. Not to be outdone by the chefs at Benihana, he also did the flaming onion volcano shtick, with a twist I had not seen before. To put the volcano out, he grabs a fireman doll filled with water that pi$$es on the flaming onion to put the fire out. The veggies were fine; a mixture of veggies I like, with a couple I don't care for... no big deal, it's easy to just eat the stuff you like. Now on to the main course! I had two types of fillet; plain, and a Teriy...
