Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a small business located inside of a convenience store in Akron Ohio. I've heard of this place having a brick and mortar location before but I think because of Covid they moved here. They are serving up some tasty, southern style fried chicken and sides with other goodies. For a place with "Krispy Krunchy" in their name that exactly what I was expecting when I ate the chicken that they served and they did not disappoint! My first bite was definitely KRIPSY and KRUNCHY, in a good way. Overall good meal with fair prices and would definitely try them again.My wife and I got the 4pc mixed chicken meal deals and we got 3 sides, jambalaya, red beans and rice and Mac and cheese. To start, the chicken was pretty dang good. I've been trying to find a good friend chicken place around here that was local and they do a good job. The skin was krispy krunchy with good flavor and the chicken was hot and juicy and not dry. You can also tell they marinate their chicken before frying because there is some redish color on the inside of the chicken when you eat it which is nice because I feel as though a lot of fried chicken places do everything to have a tasty skin and batter but don't do anything about the chicken itself and the chicken taste the same everywhere but you can definitely tell there was a difference in flavor with the chicken and it gave more depth which was a nice touch.
