Kroger Bakery in Acworth

This is not really a "recommendation" but more of a PRAISE towards one young man who was working the Parking Lot today shuttling Carts and having a wonderful attitude. After letting an employee know how great of job he was doing I was asked to let know on the FB Page just how impressed I was seeing him work with his positive attitude. Great Job and you deserve a raise and recognition.

I am a Casa (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Bartow County. I called them knowing full well they would help if they could. I had been told of a family in Bartow County that needed a Christmas tree. The manager never hesitated. It was a fast “yes”. On my way to DFCS, I inquired of another Kroger if they would give this family some food. The manager never called me back. I passed one more Kroger. I asked the same question. The manager needed my request of DFCS letter head stating the need on order for them to help. I didn’t have that kind of time. They hid behind policy and procedure. Rules before people. What a shame. I went to a Publix I was near, and they also helped without hesitation. I donated a ham. There is a family that will have a Christmas tree and a meal thanks to these generous hearts. “If you are too busy to help, then you are too busy”.

Go to Publix. Been shopping at this kriger for 9 years and its going downhill. They dont carry at least 10 of my regular products anymore and its a hit or miss if the items i need are in stock. Im always making and extra trip because they are out of an item. Then they also changed their pharmacy price match. They dont do it anymore. They did my mother in law wrong. They had delayed her prescription a day and didn't honor the price they gave her and she had to pay double. I will say best pharmacist and best grocery supervisor lady there but the company and whoever oreders and decides what they carry and take away arent good. I will pay more at Publix cause its guarnteed to be stock and have product.
