This entry is for a poor customer service experience at the KT Base Bar yesterday afternoon. I ordered one of my favorite cocktails, a Woodsman, but asked to substitute rye for the usual bourbon. When I got the bill, I noticed that I was charged $3 extra and when I asked why, I was told by the supervisor, Nate, that there was an up charge for rye. When I told him that the barman at the Arc, Tatnall (an awesome staff member, btw) had been giving me rye with my drink all winter Nate responded that 'I should go up to the Arc then. And thanks for telling me Tatnall's name because I am going to fire him.' This arrogant display played out in front of a half dozen people at the bar. Nate's behavior was unacceptable for a number of reasons and, as a Squaw season pass customer for the past 6 years, I have never encountered an employee of the resort so lacking in basic customer relationship skills.
