We went for the first time last night and agreed that this is sure to be our new favorite Mexican place. We used to live in West Asheville and loved going to Zia, but La Carreta is right down the street from our new place and it was everything we wanted. We got jumbo margaritas plus chips and queso to start (all of which were fantastic) and I got the fried chimichingas with beef tips. It was so much delicious food and we couldn't believe how cheap it was when we got the bill. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
