La Carreta Mexican Restaurant in Andrews

My favorite place! I'll never understand why some people give it negative ratings the only negative thing I have to say is the manager! She is rude and very unprofessional! Other than that the waitresses are very sweet and attentive! I will be coming back but I hope I don't have to deal with the manager again.

If I could give it less than a one star, I would. We went to have a family dinner with some out of town relatives and had the worst experience. The waitress was very nice and I know it was not her fault. However, we had to ask for silverware and napkins three separate times, then the other waitress told us that it was because there weren’t any clean utensils ??? This is a restaurant and the bare minimum requirement is to have silverware and napkins. After sitting at the table for far too long (the wait was insane. We got our drinks and then didn’t see any wait staff for 30 minutes.) When we went to check out, we had some questions about the additional gratuity (We understand that with a larger table, that it added on. But I should point out that there were only 4 adults.) So they went ahead and charged us the full 18% on both tickets for this awful experience. My uncle asked to speak with a manager who came out and immediately gave us attitude even though we just wanted to clarify the total percentage (As patrons we do have a right to know where our money was going) She turned to my grandmother and just said “It’s on the menu for everyone to read.
