I ate here today for the first time. Have you ever been to a Mexican restaurant where they don't have Al Pastor tacos because they ran out? Well this is the place! It was around 11am when we went to eat and ordered tacos. They told us they ran out. Ok we ordered something different. The tripe tacos... worst idea. These were the worst tacos I have had in my life. First and last time I go to this place.

A large group of us, approximately 25 people, went for lunch at La Catrina in Addison. We had excellent service and abundant delicious food. The homemade tortillas and sauces were to die for and the food was fresh and cooked to order. The owner personally stopped over to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this family owned Mexican restaurant and I can't wait to come back.

Highly disappointed. This place used to be amazing but now under new management, brand, owners AND kitchen staff, the restaurant has gone down hill. I ordered 2 asada tacos with cilantro and onions, and they were truly disgusting. The "steak" was dry and flavorless but had an odd smell. The cilantro and onions were wilted and dry, obviously old. Don't even get me started on the lack of cilantro; kid you not there were like 3 pieces on each taco. But that's not all, what really peeved me off was the salsa. Th...
