I really wanted to like this new local restaurant, but the food was just bland. The ambiance of the restaurant was great and the servers were responsive, but the food just was not good. They brought us two complimentary bread rolls and a parmesan butter to dip in. These were delicious and there was a reasonable 50 cent charge per roll if you wanted more bread after that.We ordered the tomato bruschetta and the "tour of Italy" to share. The bread for the bruschetta was burnt, but had a nice flavor to it. The tomatoes in the bruschetta had no flavoring. I tried the fettuccini alfredo in the "tour of Italy" and it also had no flavor. I literally had two bites and then stopped eating. It was definitely an alfredo sauce, but it did not have the richness you would expect from an alfredo sauce. My spouse had the chicken parm and lasagna from the "tour of Italy." He described both as average.I will give La Fiamma a second chance to try their pizza. It was not very busy inside the restaurant, but they seemed to be doing a lot of take out business.

Everything tasted homemade and our server was friendly and prompt. My wife loved her "Pasta Pescatore" and each stop on my "Tour of Italy" was amazingly delicious. We wish we lived closer so we could make this our weekly go-to restaurant.

My significant other and I dined at La Fiamma Italian Kitchen for father's day brunch. I've eaten at the location years ago when it was named something else and the food was okay. Also, according to my server, the restaurant is in the same family. We ate from the buffet starting with an omelet which was pretty good and I got a second omelet some time later. At the same station, waffles, pancakes, pasta, and craved meats were offered. My S.O. got a waffle but didn't really care for it. We both shared primed rib cooked well-done, it was tough but if it wasn't for the au jus it would have not been worth eating. There was a chicken entrée that I tried which was good. The chilled shrimp didn't taste fresh, in fact the taste was odd and the cocktail sauce was really sweet. I tried a fork full of the seafood rice dish but could not take another bite. The biscuits were hard and bland. However, the apple Danish were good. There were several other entrée options but none appealed to me. My S.O. had fresh fruit, the cantaloupe was absolutely sweet, juicy and good. However, when I got cantaloupe some time later, it was definitely not the same. Mine looked slimy and the taste was off-putting. I focused on the strawberries wh...
