After looking forward to going to La Hacienda…. I was very disappointed. A coworker who is a regular, recommended that we visit telling me the food is outstanding. I called ahead the day before and asked if they had outside seating and was told yes but the playground was closed. I had no problem with that since our party had only adults. Upon arrival today, I was told they do not have outside seating. The outside area and playground was closed. It’s fine that they have chosen to close the area. It is their establishment. My disappointment stemmed from the indifferent way it was handled. We attempted to find a solution… but from the responses, basically I felt as if we were not wanted. There was no attempt made to accommodate a handicapped person, only reasons why we couldn’t eat there. I guess I expected more since my coworker talked about how friendly they were. I know they are not hurting for customers and our business is of little consequence. But I can say this was not a positive experience.
