Happy Happy Birthday to my sister Mia!!! We went here to celebrate and let me say the customer service is exceptional. There are two restaurants attached; one is Superica & La Lucha: it's easy to get confused and of course I did and wound up at Superica and George, a manager walked me over to La Lucha!! Thanks George!! Where do I start with the food. We had some of everything at our table so let me start with the Crawfish Pie!! It's divine...you've gotta try it. Next we had the Fried Chicken; juicy and delish! My favorites were the Grilled Snapper Collar...wood grilled snapper wrapper in collard greens..NEED I SAY MORE!! This is a must try when you visit!! My next favorite was the Crawfish Hushpuppies...the honey butter and the powdered sugar is going to blow your mind!! My cocktail of choice was This Side of Paradise!! Now you're probably going ordering why not give stars, well I ordered the shrimp..and let's just say I sent it back. Maurice our wonderful waiter was very apologetic and he immediately removed it! I should probably give them five stars . Needless to say, I I'll be visiting this restaurant again!! Let me know if you think they should get that star back.

This place looked like a Must Try on Yelp, so we decided to give it a try! This place was good from beginning to end. We got there around 8 pm, sat at the bar right away, but even on a Wednesday it was busy & we weren't able to snag a table for just us 2 You HAVE to get the oysters here! (If you're a fan) We got the Garlic Parm baked Oysters and it hit the spot. (5/5) My favorite thing here was the spicy wontons and the crawfish bread (10/5) - So good! ESP the crawfish bread! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the Mac n' Cheese and that's only because I personally don't like when pasta is too saucy/soupy. My BF loved it though! Overall this is 5/5 for me because every server was ON TOP of it - literally top tier customer service. The ambiance was sooo cute. Perfect for date night or a dinner with the girls. And the food/drinks came out so much better than what I had in mind. They're not huge portions, so I would recommend buying a bunch of things and sharing family style!

La Lucha had been on my list to try out for over a year, and I finally ventured out for a weekday happy hour to dinner. Parking is available on-site, in a lot across the street, or through valet. I loved the ambience and decor of the restaurant (we dined inside) and bar area. The staff was attentive and friendly. I found their cocktail list and wine list to be limited, but they do have a full bar if you opt for your regular cocktail. Noted as "the best burger in Houston" among many reviews, I couldn't leave without trying their Pharmacy Burger & Fries, which were both delicious!
