Been a while since I've been to La Madeleine. Met a good friend for coffee and dessert. We pretty much had the place to ourselves around 8 on a Thursday evening. A decent size spot with outdoor seating but even at this time in August it was too warm for that. A good amount of dessert choices but it ended up being a Sacher evening as the Torte and Torte Parfait were ordered. Also, got a Cappuccino. Sparkling water/Seltzer (free) was available via fountain machine which was a nice touch. The Sacher Torte -I've had the real thing in Vienna and it is amaz...
