We went to la Madeleine for a light dinner. The cafe is very similar to a Panera with French flavors. The staff seemed grumpy to be there but the main courses were reasonably priced. Our meal simply lacked polish and flavor. We ordered Croce monsures and not only was the cheese un melted but there was no garlic or butter flavor to be found. The potato chips that came with the sandwich were cheap lays potato chips with absolutely no crunch. The Cesar salad was decent but our daughters sandwich was also completely cold. We decided to forgo dessert as they were too expensive for the lack of flavor found in our main meal.
