On the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, The Toro Creek Ramblers and the Bluegrass Music Society of the Central Coast host a Bluegrass jam session at La Mexicana Restaurant. The jam session is open to acoustic string instrument players of all levels. It's called a "pickin' party," so bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, etc. and play along to songs and instrumentals by the pioneers of Bluegrass music. (Sorry, but in keeping with Bluegrass tradition, amplifiers and percussion are NOT allowed.) Here's THE prime example of how Bluegrass Music should sound!
