This restaurant used to be the prime example of Mexican food in Powell for years. Me and the family went multiple times a week, a place they truly knew us and out names.About a year ago service got terrible, food quality went downhill, and the overall experience was in the trash. You can't order over the phone, you either get hung up on, or it just rings busy. Ever tried ordering from Wings Express on Clinton Hwy? Very similar experience now. Luckily more places have opened and are opening and I will quit attempting to give this place another chance. Good example of how to run a great place into the ground.

This will be the LAST time we EVER eat here.We called in our order, they didn’t even start our order until after my husband payed for the order, so another 10-15 waiting at the place on top of already waiting 10 minutes before leaving the house. $23 and we got the food home and this was all that was in the To go container? I mean seriously? Not worth the $23. They can barely put no more than 2 spoons of rice and chicken in there? Very disappointed…this used to be our go to in town Mexican restaurant…not any more.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I use to be a regular here for years. I am a local and use to come here ALL the time. It was very disappointing. They have new management and has changed their cheese sauce and it doesn't even taste like cheese sauce. It's absolutely disgusting and so disappointing. Will never be returning here. Everything taste salty and meal portions are very small now to new management. Bring the old la Palma de Oro back or shut down.
