You guys treated me sooo bad tonight! I have been dining here for decades! When it was El Caballo, everyone was so good to us. Years in, we enjoyed the restaurant as La Penca Azul. Many good memories with both. Tonight, we ordered pickup through Grubhub. I arrived to pick up my order and was told by the guy at the register, that I had ordered from the wrong La Penca. I gave them our name, no record! They asked what we ordered, I gave it to them, no record! They asked the phone number, no record! So I decided to reorder and have a Margarita. My wife sent the receipt and I showed it to the guy, and the reply was, oh you didn't say that it was an internet order! After all of that! C'mon, I don't believe you couldn't find it! So, I stood at the bar to have a drink. I took off my mask because no one else at the bar, or anyone else in the restaurant for that matter, was wearing a mask. The bartender looked at me angrily and said, you've got to put on your mask! I said, but no one else at the bar is wearing a mask! He said, yeah, well they are sitting and you are standing. What!!! Am I more contagious than them??? I told him that I was fully vaccinated. No help... I saw an open seat and approached it. He then said, you can't sit there, that seat is taken. The guy next to the seat said, no, the seat is open, the guy left, so I sat. It took 10 minutes before I was acknowledged by the bartender. Finally I was able to order a drink. The funny thing was that there were three people sitting next to me, two had seats and one didn't. All w...
