The street tacos are amazing. The fish tacos where good. My friend got a margarita, and it was pretty ok. Probably going back for the tacos.

Not a good restaurant

La Tapatia Gessner is currently closed for "sanitization" purposes, according to their website. However, I stopped here a couple weeks ago and placed a to-go order for potato + egg + cheese breakfast tacos. When I got home and took a bite out of my taco, there was bacon in it; I do not eat bacon. I was a little frustrated, but I was hungry and decided to drive all the way back there so they could remake it. The cashier, Rosa, blamed the cook for the mistake--it's whatever. I understand things happen sometimes. S-o-m-e-t-i-m-e-s. I waited about 20 minutes for my new order and quickly checked that there was no bacon in it before I left. I get home, take a couple bites of my taco, and see this--there was a HAIR in my food! (See pictures.) At that point, I was absolutely disgusted and just threw everything away in the trash. Not only did I waste my time driving back and forth, but in the end I didn't eat anything because there was a hair cooked into the eggs of my breakfast taco. Maybe they'll get it together once they reopen post-"sanitization," but I won't be back to find out.
